The Antenor Quaderni collection, started in 2002, brings together monographs and miscellaneous volumes resulting both from academic thinking and discussion within Padua’s school, and from debates with other scholars on a national and international level. The research topics included in the collection are manifold: studies on the function of images as a non-verbal semantic code; research on ancient world architecture, with in-depth investigation both into the technical and the socio-cultural aspects; modern issues with computerization of the artistic and archaeological heritage, in view of its widespread fruition; the continuity of ancient figurative culture, with special attention to the collecting of antiques; production and commerce in material culture; elements of legislation in the field of cultural heritage; finally, studies in honour of retired colleagues, who have greatly contributed to our school and research.
